Brigid O’Donnell is a native of Cashel, Co. Tipperary. She completed a degree in Law and French at University College Cork in 2006. Brigid then spent two years working in banking while studying for a Masters in Criminal Justice. She completed her training with a firm which specialised in medical negligence, defective product liability and personal injuries actions.

Brigid continues to specialise in the area of medical negligence and has extensive experience in cases involving cancer misdiagnosis, birth related injuries and all other areas of medical negligence.

Brigid advises clients in relation to all aspects of civil litigation including personal injury actions arising from accidents at work, road traffic accidents and public liability claims. She advises clients from applications to the Injuries Board right through to conclusion. She has had many successfully results for her clients.  She also advises clients in relation to  Defamation and Family Law. She has brought successful judicial review proceedings and obtained injunctive relief on behalf of private clients before the High Court.

She has been involved in several high profile personal injuries cases some of which resulted in published judgements in higher courts.

Brigid represents clients at the District Court in relation to maintenance applications, access and custody arrangements and guardianship applications. She has an empathetic, professional manner and focuses on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
